This service undertakes to recondition back to fully working order the head from a customer's 1960's model Sparklets soda syphon/seltzer bottle (commonly known as UK Streamline Deluxe models, see picture) which had either a chrome plated or painted body but, unlike the earlier Streamline models which had a heavy metal cored head, these models had a solid coloured plastic head featuring the earlier style of CO2 inlet feature (see second picture) During reconditioning all the original rubber seals are replaced with new or re-manufactured items.   Please see the photographs associated with this product listing which indicate the range of models covered by this product offering.  Where possible we try to re-use or recondition the parts recovered during this process.   It assumes that all the parts found in the supplied head are capable of being reconditoned.  However, where parts are found to broken, heavily corroded or missing new or alternative reconditioned donor parts can be supplied to replace these at additional cost.  Over 80% of complete heads we receive do not require any additional parts. 
 
Price includes a replacement neck seal and dip tube suitable for these early syphons.  The neck seal for these models is almost double the thickness of those used in later models and so the standard neck seal is not likely to be suitable.  The seal is of laminated construction and, after some use, may begin to peel apart.   This should not reduce its functionality.   The seal does not fit the original dip-tubes made from plastic, but is a drop in replacement for them.
 
Reconditioning takes approximately 10 working days from our receipt to dispatch back to the owner, but is dependent upon current workload.  You will be informed of anticipated turnaround times when your order is placed.
 
Price includes Return (UK only) 2nd Class Signed For postage from our workshop.  International, tracked and insured, postage is approximately £20.   Taxes and duties are the responsibility of the international customer to pay and are not included in the price quoted here.
